I usually forget to write reviews but as I was standing in the middle of a wind and rain storm with my umbrella, I realized I must write a review for this! I was standing at a bus stop and the wind was so strong that I saw at least 5 umbrellas flip upside down....but me? I stayed nice and dry! This umbrella is really sturdy in the wind. The flaps allow the air to go through (when there's a strong wind it'll like flutter and that's the wind going through I think). Only thing is, when closing the umbrella (not to fold it but to push it in) it takes some strength (I usually just push it against something which works well) Anyways, highly recommend!
Very compact, but not too small well made umbrella. It opens easily and has a sleeve to go over. Perfect for my work bag. It’s perfect when it’s windy, plus gives a little extra protection. This would make a great gift for anyone.
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s very heavy duty and super cute. Love the way it opens and closes. I would say this product is well worth the price.
I purchased this umbrella since I was tired of having my umbrella ripped to shreds by NYC winds on rainy, cold days. Just as luck would have it, two days after it was delivered, we had one of those cold, windy, very wet winter days. The umbrella held up perfectly in the gusting winds and kept me relatively dry.
It’s a good umbrella. It has held up well through several NYC thunderstorms. It doesn’t turn inside out in the wind.

I wanted a portable umbrella for some traveling I did recently. I wanted something small and sturdy. Originally I considered just a $5 or less umbrella from a local store but I wanted it to hold up to the wind. While in Europe I saw a lot of other umbrellas stuffed in trash cans or laying next to them and even saw a few flip inside out from strong winds. The venting on this prevented it from yanking my arm in strong winds and the strong ribs stopped it from breaking in those winds. The push-button worked for opening and closing. I highly recommend this umbrella.
I love this umbrella! It performs amazingly in the wind, it's very small and light. It is lighter than my toddler's umbrella. Even with the weight of hers, she has almost lost it a few times in the wind while I can easily hold onto this lightweight umbrella thanks to the ventilation layer.

This umbrella is just the right size for me. It is sturdy, well made and easy to use. The umbrella has a lifetime warranty so I am very pleased with it and with the manufacturer.
I have used this umbrella a few times now and it has done its job (i.e. kept me dry). I have not used it in strong winds yet, but based on other reviews and my own evaluation of this umbrella's sturdiness I am confident it will hold up better than my previous umbrellas. The compact size let's me keep it in the side-pocket of my large tote-bag, but the umbrella's circumference is big enough to easily cover one person but it is tight for two people. When my husband and I walked together underneath the umbrella we needed to walk with arms around one another to both fit underneath. Overall, I am very satisfied and considering buying another one to keep in my car.
I used it during the rainy season in Mexico. It is easy to open and compact enough to fit in my backpack. It is also large enough that two people can easily fit under it. In fact it is so great that someone stole mine! So I bought another one in a brighter color, figuring I could see it from afar in case the second one also gets stolen. I absolutely love the color!

Used this umbrella twice so far and really liked it. Seems sturdy enough for wind with its built in wind flap but there wasn't enough wind to test it out.

These are the best umbrellas I’ve ever bought. They have a design that makes it very sturdy in the wind. I’ve used this umbrella for years and never had any problems opening the umbrella in any way. Also, the fabric is very durable and doesn’t easily tear.
